FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are college coaches looking for

in a recruiting video?

Intangibles, the character and attitude of an athlete, are difficult to determine from just highlight or skills videos. Typically coaches must travel to personally visit and talk with their recruit to help make that determination. We minimize that challenge by featuring coach and athlete interviews, freeing up recruiters' time and giving them a head start at the beginning of the recruiting process.

What are the components of my video?

Both 3 minute and 5 minute videos are broken down into 3 main sections:

     • Introduction; skill specific commentary

     • Community Service

     • Character on and off the field; overcoming obstacles

We discuss these three areas because that's what college coaches have told us they look for when scouting a recruit. There is a big focus on character, time management, social distractions and how the athlete feels they will transition from high school to college.
